For anyone who wants to be into the tattoo industry there are the right way and many wrong ways to go about it

Of course one of wrong ways to go about it is to grab yourself the cheapest tattoo machine (or even make your own) and start inking your friends from your house. This wont get you very far and wont get you a very good reputation. One thing to be made clear though is that this is very different to home tattooist. Home tattooist are trained, health and safety approved and know how to keep you and themselves safe while tattooing. The best way to get into the industry is via an apprenticeship from a licensed studio, though not always very is it’s definitely the best.

Another things is ( and seems most obvious) is that who need to have the ability to draw quality pictures and flash. Without an artistic flair there is no way that you’ll be able to replicate someones idea for a tattoo in their flesh. There are several websites, blogs and other sources explaining your journey through the tattoo industry and many are very helpful. While looking at ways of improving my art i came across GDGTV. Grahame the owner of GDGTV and a tattoo studio in bournemouth studio is a tattoo artist and has multiple videos on his site with what i found to be some vital information and created a clear “what to do” pathway. Some videos that i found helpful:
